VOLUME RESTORATION
LIPODERMA® by BRITECYTE® (Regenerative Facial Rejuvenation)
Unlike traditional dermal fillers that simply add volume, Lipoderma® by Britecyte® replaces lost fat with fat. It is donated human adipose tissue, carefully screened and prepared, with no liposuction and no second procedure. It works with your body's own biology, integrating over the weeks and months that follow rather than temporarily filling a space.
As we age, we naturally lose collagen, elasticity, and facial volume. Restoring that volume, and the skin quality that comes with it, is exactly what Lipoderma is designed to do, and we are proud to offer it here at Franklin Plastic Surgery.
Lipoderma® comes in smaller, precise volumes, which makes it our choice for the face and hands: under-eye hollows, the cheeks and temples, the jawline, nasolabial folds, and the thin, crepey skin on the backs of the hands. It is also a welcome option for patients whose faces have thinned after rapid weight loss, including with GLP-1 medications. For larger-volume body contouring, we use AlloClae™.
During your consultation, we will evaluate your concerns, discuss your goals, and determine whether Lipoderma is the right treatment for you.
ALLOCLAE™ (Injectable Fat Transfer)
Traditional fat transfer begins with liposuction. Harvesting your own fat means a donor site and a recovery of its own. AlloClae™ removes that step. It is purified human adipose tissue from screened donors, sterilized and supplied ready to use, so we can add volume and shape without operating anywhere else on your body.
Because AlloClae preserves the natural structure of fat, including the fat cells themselves and the surrounding matrix of collagen and elastin, it looks and feels like the tissue it replaces rather than sitting in place like a gel.
AlloClae™ comes in larger volumes, which makes it our choice for contouring the body: the buttocks and hips, the breasts and chest, and areas that have lost their fullness or developed contour irregularities. It is a particularly good option after significant weight loss, including with GLP-1 medications, and for patients who do not have enough fat of their own to transfer. For finer work on the face and hands, we use Lipoderma®.
Many of our patients experience excellent results from one or two treatments, and most of the treatments can last up to two years, making fillers excellent choices for long-term change.
During your consultation, our team will evaluate your goals and determine whether AlloClae is the best option for your unique needs.
